I think I've had DS in too small of shoes for awhile!! He's 19 months old and I have him in a size 6 right now. I know all kids are different sizes, but I'd just like to know. I measured his feet with a tape measure and they are about 5.5 inches long. Does anyone know if size 6 is too small? Thanks!

Evan is 22 months and wears a 6. He's been in a 6 for nearly a year.

My daughter's foot is 5.5 inches long and she wears a size 6 perfectly. :)
I try to buy her shoes that have the sizing guide on the bottoms or a clear cut sizing chart online, if I'm purchasing that way.
She will be 17 months in 2 days and has been wearing a size 6 since mid/late-October. She does wear a size 7 in Land's End snow boots though.

size 6 here too but when my local store measured his feet, they said he was a size 8. I purchased him size 8 sandals that fit well and sine they are sandals I can see his toes and know the fit. I think all shoe brands fit different. His size 6 shoes are Elk kids custom made shoes and they fit big

Haydn is 21mos and can wear a 6 or 7 depending on make of the shoe.

It seems like different websites have different sizing charts, because some say that he should be in a size 7 and some say a size 6. I guess I need to just try to feel his toe through the shoe or something.

My dd wears a 4 and she's 19 months-I guess she has small feet based on the other postings. I have a measuring chart linked (but it's in centimeters) from a type of shoe that I have bought for dd in the past. Based on these shoes and other shoes I have bought, they run small for the size. So my dd normally wears a 4 in other shoes, but would probably wear a 5 in these.
Hope that helps!

My lil guy is 22 months, and is supposed to be in a 6, by what the shoe measure thing says, lol. But he has to wear a size 7XW, if it wasn't for his in-step it would be a 6.

OH MY GOD. I knew that ds had big feet, but seriously??? At 22 months he was wearing a 8.5 xw. Now at 26 months, he's wearing a 9.5

My 38 month old just started wearing a 7.
My 18.5 month old wears a 5.

My daughter is 19 1/2 months old and she wears a size 4 1/2. I *think* she might be ready to move up to a size 5 soon. She has tiny feet!

at 18 month ds was in a 6 See Kai Run and had been for awhile. He is now in a 7 with See Kai Run at 24 months, but I don't remember when we switched. His rubber boot on the other hand are size 5. His winter snow boots are a 6. For us, it depends on the brand unfortunately. I wish everyone was uniform on their sizes.
I found it easier to print out sizing charts from the actual brand's website and measure DS's foot that way.

My DS just turned 2, but has been in a size 7 since he was about 20mos. His feet are actually closer to a size 6, but are so chubby that I can't get them into a size 6 (they are chubby in height, not so wide). He curls his toes if I try to put any shoes that aren't loose on him, so he wears a 7, even though it's at least 3/4" too long.

My dd is 22 months and she wears a size 6. And it's only been the last couple of months that a 6 fit her well. But her Robeez Tredz are, I think, size 16-20 months and she still has a bit of room in them.

My DS's feet have been growing like nuts in the past 2 months, I like getting him shoes with the sole that comes out with a outline on it so you can compare their foot to the sole of the shoe.

7 without her AFOs (9 with her AFOs on...)
I'd go to Stride Rite and get measured, or to a shoe store that knows how to measure children's feet.

my ds is huge he is 20 months and wears a size 9 shoe. He is wearing 4 and 5T clothes though. I took him to the doctor Tuesday and he weighs 39 1/2 lbs and is 3 feet tall.

My DS is 16 months old and can were a 5.5 or a 6. He wears a size 18-24 month in Robeez type shoes.
Go the local shoe store and get them to measure his feet for free.

DD is only 15.5 months, but is comfortably wearing a size 4!
When she got measured they said that most 1 yr olds wear a 5 to 5.5. She is just small.

19 month old DD wears a 5 ... probably could move up to a 6 in some brands but is a 4 in others

Small feet run in my family. Both of my girls were wearing size 3 to 4 at that age.
