Organizing Recipes?

How do you have your recipes organized? For awhile I just had a recipe box with everything stuffed in it. A while ago I took out all the recipes I hadn't tried and put them at the back of the box so that when I flip through the box its all recipes I know we like. If I try something out of a book or online I try to write up a recipe card and put it in there. Now I'm thinking of typing out all my recipes and making a binder/ recipe book. If I actually get that done I may use it for Christmas gifts next year. My roommate in college had a binder that her mom had given her with all the family recipes in it and I was so jealous! I'd love to have something like that to give to my girls eventually. What do you think? How are your recipes organized?

I use a 3 ring binder. I type up recipes that I like and add them to it. I keep a blank template file to type them on so that they all look the same too.

I only keep recipes that we really really like though.
