I'm banging my head on this one :banghead: here's the deal:
started a little over a week ago. you can feel the little bumps more than you can see them almost like goose bumps but a few patches of dryness. All over his chest, back, shoulders and little on his legs. only a little pink after a tubby or the other morning when he was too warm in his fleece sleeper in the am when the dry heat kicked on. NO other symptoms what so ever, he's happy, not itchy, no fever pretty sure there isn't another tooth coming in that i can see any signs of anyway. At first I thought it was dry skin (eczema) so I lubed him up a few times a day with either just olive oil for a few days or then I did California baby for a few days. No difference. Then I thought maybe it's heat rash, so made sure he was in cotton pj's and the heat wasn't too warm especially at night and gave him a cool bath (93F) no difference if anything tonight after the bath and nake time he looked blotchy. Again no other sypmtoms though no fussiness or anything.
I'm NOT taking him into the Dr's unless there are other symptoms and he's not happy. If he'snot sick now he'll be sick after leaving there this time of year..:yuck:
so what the heck is this rash?!?!?!?! He also has a diaper rash for the past 2 days but those come and go, I usually use Northern Essence better butterbum cream stuff, just running out and they're closed for year end so I'll get more soon. They also Have an eczema kit for babies I was thinking of trying out on him but again not 100% sure it's dryness. My gut says it's dryness cause our heat is soooo dry even I get it on my legs.
ANY THOUGHTS??????? I took a pic but honestly you can barely see it even close up. but I miss my baby's smooth skin :(
oh and no it's nothing in my diet, haven't changed one thing. I EBF.
