So, my temp was 97.5 this morning and i know i didn't ovulate. (see temp chart in siggy). It was this a few days ago and i adjusted it because i had maybe been sick...now i realized the 2 days my temp has been higher have been after Lor has gone 15 hours without nursing. Is it possible that the prolactic decreases after one 15 hour session and my temps go back to their normal pre o range (i was always 97.1-97.7 before having Lor and nursing)?

Just wondering if i should discard todays since i started ovulating 97.5 is usually the range for my 1st and 2nd post O temp...then it climbs to 98ish...

:headscratch:

she is walking so much she forgets to eat before she konks out for the night...:)

So I'm assuming your opk's are still neg? I don't know much about all this temping stuff, but do you think maybe you're o'ing earlier since she's not nursing as much?:headscratch: Like I said, I don't really have any idea, it's just my only guess. I wish Cameron would cut back on his nursing a bit...GL

nope, they have all been negataive, and my cervix is still super high and soft. For me, my cervix snaps back to low and hard the day after ovulation. And, i haven't had ewcm yet which i usually have copius amounts.

I am so confused!

Rachael, I do notice the nights/mornings that DD doesn't sleep well and wants a nursing around 8am (I temp at 8:30) my temps are usually lower than if her last nursing was at 6. I would think there is some sort of correlation? When I'm pretty sure I o'd my temps were pretty low but higher than the days before, but DD had 5 straight nights of up every 20 -30 min. Then when she was sleeping good I got great temps. They skyrocketed. Now even the past few days when she has started waking more often again, my temps go down. I would put a link to show my chart but I don't know how!

that makes me feel better...makes sense since prolactin prohibits progesterone which is what ups your temp...would be even mroe dramatic after o i suppose.

:headscratch: Good Question, I wish I had a good answer! Must have some correlation.

Hmm, this is interesting. I just started charting again - DS is 21mo and still nurses a few times during the day and night. My pre-ovulatory temps are much higher than they were before I got pregnant with DS - they used to be around 97.3, and now they are like 98.0! I was wondering if maybe breastfeeding increased my BBT, but it looks like you're wondering if the opposite is true? I just want to see what happens if/when I ovulate - my periods have been back and regular since DS was 9mo, but I have no idea if I've been ovulating...
