Our tub is next to our toilet, so I use the shower head from that to spray down the dirty dipes.
If it gets dirty (I use the really hot water), we either soak it in cleaner like Mr Proper or such, or I will soak it in a vinegar soak.

We use the flushable liners. And when we've forgotten, we have a hard plastic scraper in the bathroom to scrape (but that is SO gross).
Either way, we don't rinse before placing in our dry pail and wash usually every other day.

I think I should get some flushable liners for the time being. I'm not sure how far away the shower is from the toilet, but I was thinking about somehow putting the sprayer we have on the sink..
We've been flushing/swishing for the time being, I made fleece liners which are much easier to clean in the potty than the diapers are, kwim?
We have some flushable liners left from way back when, but I'd stopped buying them.

I use Disana liners for my newborn and just spray the dipes from my older son with the shower head (on massage setting it has a really strong spray) over the toilet. I've used Imse Vimse flushable liners, but I never flushed them. They go in the trash. I'm too scared they'll stop up the pipes.
Lately, I throw everything in in the pail and spray down the yucky diapers right before washing as I'm washing every other day. I used to rinse OS diapers in the toilet, using the spray of the stronger flush to rinse off solids. That worked better with Fuzzi Bunz than it does with BumGenius. I guess the poo sticks better to the suedecloth. I have some fleece liners that rinse off well in the toilet, so I use those sometimes too.

IDK about here, but I do know that in most places in the states it's actually illegal to throw feces in the trash, so I know we'd flush our liners.
DH can't remember if the showerhead was close enough to the toilet to spray diapers with but I'm fx that it is!

Thats what we do. We have a trash can we bought without the lid for the diapers that are "wet" only, and we have a mop pail we use for the "icky" diapers by the toilet. When it comes to wash day, I take all the wet diapers and just take them all apart (BG OS) and stuff in the washer, and then take care of the other ones and do the same. I wash with a prewash (no soap) then do a wash with soap and additional wash at the end - no soap.
It seems like a lot, but it gets the soap out and I've had no problems so far.

I brought our pail liners and we've been flush/swishing them and putting them all in the bag to be washed, laundry is about every 2nd day. I always take my inserts out before the dipe goes into the pail. I make my own laundry detergent :)

Jennifer, our shower heads are CLOSE enough for use as diaper sprayers, but the one in our bathroom works best! :D Thanks for giving me hope, DH was about to quit cloth because he didn't want to swish/dunk anymore!

You are most welcome!
I icked my DH out by using the shower head. He now insists he has to do that dirty work, or I'll "Ick" it up. :yuck: :giggle:
Ok, works for me, I hate poop diapers. :giggle2:

Here is is not illegal to do throw faeces in the bin, but you have to put it in the right bin, you put in the Grey bin. You would put sposies in the grey bin and so you can put your flushable poop filled liners in there too.

Is it possible to attach an US diaper sprayer to a German toilet tank anyway? :headscratch:

That depends on the toilet. Some modern ones have the tank built into the wall, then you could not attach it.
Where in the States is it forbidden to put the poop in the trash? Do all the people in those states cd? Never seen or heard of a sposie user dumping the poop in the toilet first before putting the posie in the trash.

My tank is were it usually belongs ;) !
I rather wonder if the attachments are same size - or doesn't that matter? :headscratch:

I'm going to go ahead and order one, and will update here if it works when it comes. It might be awhile though as baby isn't due till March so who knows when we will actually set it up...
