What makes Enchanted Dandelions' diaper cakes so unique?
While most diaper cakes are made of disposable diapers, our cakes feature high-quality cloth diapers! I also use natural, WAHM-made baby care products and other goodies. No cheap, mainstream items here!
Our cakes have a clean appearance, not cluttered like a lot of diaper cakes. Simple, yet simply adorable! You'll definitely want to show off these cakes as a shower centerpiece, at the office, or in the nursery.
These cakes are perfect for baby showers and blessingways, or for a hospital/homebirth gift. Or ask about making one with larger diapers for baby's first birthday! Cakes can also be modified for those using different types of cloth diapers, or for those not using cloth at all.
Cakes are completely customizable!
Cakes can be made to suit your style, diapering needs, and budget. I have two base packages, though, to get you started. Note that both versions are identical on the outside, so you get the same great look, regardless of price!
~~~ BARE BASICS CAKE ~~~
A Bare Basics Cake doesn't include all the goodies our Starter Stash cakes do, but is lower in price for more affordable gift-giving. Perfect for those who already have an established stash, or if you aren't certain what type of cloth diapers they plan on using. This cake is also the perfect eco-friendly alternative to traditional diaper cakes, even if the recepient is planning on using disposable diapers, as prefolds make excellent burp cloths! Price is $48, and includes the following:
* 12 DSQ Infant Indian Prefolds. Made of 100% cotton twill, they are soft, durable and highly absorbent. Each diaper measures 12 x 16". Blue serged edges.
* A total of 5 cloth wipes. Three 5 x 8" flannel backed with terrycloth or sherpa, and two 8 x 8" double-sided flannel wipes. Handmade by EnchantedDandelions (http://www.enchanteddandelions.com).
* 1 burp cloth. Flannel on both sides, with an extra layer in the middle for extra absorbency. Measures approximately 8 x 15" in a modern, contoured shape. Handmade by EnchantedDandelions (http://www.enchanteddandelions.com).
* Wooden cut-out. Perfect to reuse as a nursery decoration.

~~~ STARTER STASH CAKE ~~~
Starter Stash Cakes include not only prefolds, but many other diapering accessories to create a great starter kit. Perfect for those just starting out with cloth diapers, or for veteran mommas wanting to expand their existing stash. Price is $75, and includes everything listed above in the Bare Basic Cake, in addition to:
* A Thirsties PUL cover. Your choice of X-Small (6-12 lbs) or Small (12-18 lbs). I'll pick a color to coordinate with the theme unless you have a preference.
* A Snappi fastener. No more pokey pins! I'll pick a matching color.
* Organic cotton/hemp fleece doubler. Measures approximately 5 x 12". Serged edges. Great for adding extra absorbency. Handmade by Scire4 (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5884771).
* A small pack of Baby Soap Bits, infused with Shea Butter. Scented with lavender and chamomile essential oils. (Unscented also available). Approximately 8 pieces- enough to make 8-12 cups of cloth wipe solution. Handmade by WeeEssentials (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5923809).
* 2oz tin of Tame That Tushie Butt Balm. Made with herbal-infused oils and beeswax, this balm is gentle and soothing on diaper rashes. Handmade by BaileysBasics (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5922747).

Both styles of cakes measure approximately 12 inches tall (not including the wipe topper) and 8 inches wide. The prefold diapers are individually rolled to show off their fluffy cloth goodness. The burp cloth is securely wrapped around the bottom of the cake, and the whole thing is then embellished with coordinating ribbon. If ordering the Starter Stash cake, the accessories will be tucked within the cake, for a delightful surprise upon disassembling.
All items are new and of course, usable. I have pre-washed the prefolds in Charlie's Soap to "prep" them, making them ready to use.
Your cake will arrive wrapped in coordinating tulle and ribbon to ensure your cake remains neat and clean. The cake will also include a fabric-covered recycled cardboard circle, and will be shipped ready to give/display.

There are many options available, as I want your cake to be just perfect for the recepient you have in mind. I can make cakes in many different themes and colors. Other examples of complete customization include:
* More tiers can be added to include additional prefolds for a larger starter stash.
* Prefolds can be hand-dyed and/or embellished to coordinate with the theme.
* Other diapering accessories such as more covers and wipes, AIOs, fitteds, pockets, doublers, wool covers, wet bags, laundry detergent, etc. can be included.
* Other baby gear, such as bibs, burp cloths, clothing, blankets, and loveys, can be included. Ask me about some great WAHM recommendations for these products.
* Smaller diaper cakes, or "cupcakes" can also be made. (samples coming soon)
* My cakes can be altered for those not planning on using cloth diapers. Prefolds make great burp cloths, and the wipes can be used as washcloths. The other diapering accessories will be omitted.

* Due to the custom nature of this item, please allow up to 7-10 days for me to "bake" the cake. However, if you need it sooner, just let me know and we can work things out.
