Hey Mamas,
I just wanted to post this little tid bit. I am a school teacher in Norfolk & just found out through work, that Nauticus has "Preschool Adventures in Science" on Saturdays. They are "geared" towards children ages 2-5. You have to RSVP. They are included in the price of admission. There are 2 sessions a day, one at 11 and one at 2.
My sister and I are planning to go to the one on Jan. 31, at 2:00. I'm borrowing my niece who's 17 months and she'll have the boys she babysits. One is 6 months, the other is 26 months. She's also bringing a friend with a four year old.

Jan 31: Wacky Science
February 7: Battleships
February 14: Sailor Folklore
February 21: Lighthouses
February 28: Recycling
March 7: Sinking and Floating
March 14: Mermaids
March 21: Optical Illusions
March 28: Boats
Geared towards children ages two to five, each program is designed to help develop large and fine motor skills and includes storytelling, a craft activity, game and special guided tour of Nauticus exhibits.
Included in regular Nauticus admission.
