that's interesting. my son watched these videos when he was a baby and still knows the sign language he learned from them. :)

i wish they would have specified if the sign language ones were part of the study...my language delayed ds actually picks up words and signs when he watches the sign language ones...

yes, in general I agree, I knwo there have now been numerous studies showing this.,,.but at tah same time, i *KNOW* my dd has learned from preschool programming.....I think the key is to really moderate, sort of like how portion sizes are huge, we need to rethink how much TV is appropriate...like maybe 1-10 minute Dora episode should be considered a "serving" instead of the 4- episode DVD being considered 1 "serving" , you know?
