Riley won't let me change his diaper. He screams and cries the whole way through. I said "time to change your diaper" and he ran away from me.

He hates being on his back. It's gonna be a long road to PLing. And I just got customs pf's from botty gold that are almost impossible to put on him cause flails so much.

Morning! I could've slept longer considering all of my babes are still sleeping soundly, but I forced myself out of bed so I could have some nice quiet me time :yoga:
My A is getting to be the same way at some diaper changes Stacy. Sometimes Ill ask her if she needs her diaper changed and she'll just willingly lay down in front of me (usually when shes poopy), but then there are the times that as soon as I start to lay her down shes screaming and arching her back and fighting me the whole time :hairpull:

Very tempting but must buy Buffet tickets at 10:00 am. I wish I could get stalkers for that like with HC. It's a Sat show so tickets are gonna go fast. Me, BFF & BFF's boyfriend are all gonna try at 10. Wish me luck.

I would let R run around nakey but it gets him so excites he'll pee on the floor almost immediately. Not a big deal but I'm worried he'll pee on something that's hard to clean. He got so excited for bath last night he peed on the baby gate in the bathroom doorway.

We'll he didn't do too bad. I got a pf on him. I just need practice so i can be faster.

I've decided to start weaning R . It's time. I said I wouldn't go past a year and then it was 18 months which is fast approaching and then it was 2yrs old. Well I thought about it and I don't want to go till he's 2.

Everytime eggs slip past me and I eat them I feel horrible guilt. I'm also thinking about getting back on anti depressants but one that won't make me gain weight and most of them aren't ok for BFing.

Stacy - I weaned Mason at 11 months because I just couldn't do it anymore- he was just too demanding and I was feeling really down. It made a tremendous impact on my mood - I was SO much happier after.

Now if I could just kick these winter blues...

So fresh and so clean clean :giggle:

Nursing my kids seems to go longer each time. Z I weaned at 10 months because of a horrible bought with thrush, and at the time I didnt know you could continue nursing. M I nursed to 17 months. J nursed to 21 months. I grew up with all the woman in my family nursing at least until 2, but I decided not to go past two because I didnt want little ones walking up to me and opening my blouse :giggle:

Brina...when do you need your grill money by? I wanna get a friends daughter some clippies but won't have money till beginning of the week or if I sell a dipe.

Might have some $ today. A mama wants my PB&E but she's in Canada with only 1 feedback. I asked if she has feedback somewhere else. I wish we could do DC to Canada so it wouldn't matter.

Once they got to the point where they only wanted to nurse when they got a boo-boo or once to fall asleep at night, added with their age, thats when I weaned  I think because they werent so dependant on it at that point made weaning really easy. Two or three days and they had forgotten totally.

When R is teething free, allergy free and not sick he only wants only a few times a day. As the day goes on he wants less and less and not even before bed.

morning is his time. he nurses like crazy from about 5a.m. till like 9 or 10.

I use lots of different stuff for nighttime. piddle poddles AI2s are good for us for nighttime, also very baby simply nights, piddle poddles or goodmamas stuffed with extra soakers, and my least favorite because they smell by morning bedbugs.

When R grew out of his BG's I went to FB's (old style) but when that stopped working (wicking at the belly before i found wool) and his rash started up (before we new it was allergies) I went to sposies and have kept using them . He slept so good in sposies that I'm afraid to try cloth again. Not sure anything could contain his pee for 12 hours like the sposies. Cause he sleeps from 7 to 7.

Morning everyone! I caught up so lets see if I can remember everything!

Great pics of everyone, I'll go get mine in a sec.

Yea for the good nights and blah for the bad nights.

Ours was mediocre, kids were all in bed by 9:30, then various wake-ups at 3am, 4am and some were up for good at 6am. :yuck: Of course AJ slept in til 9:30 as per usual, love his sleep schedule!

RE Nursing, I weaned AJ at 10 months. I still feel guilty about it and wish I had gone longer. My original goal was 6 months so I did surpass that, but DH was overseas from 3.5 to 10 months and it was a really hard time for me. I had planned on weaning him when DH got home thinking it would give me more freedom so I just went ahead with it even though I had almost changed me mind at the end. Looking back I might have been able to cut back but he too was a demanding nurser, still 8-12 times per day and getting up multiple times some nights. I do have too say that some of my anxiety/depression lessened after weaning, although that could have been DH coming home as well. Okay, my vent is over now. :)

Morning ladies. We might go to the park today. Ali woke up in a good mood. She sat up, tapped me on the shoulder. I turned over to face her and she started trying to pull up my shirt. I signed milk, and she squealed. LOL. Atleast I know she is understanding things.

So I may or may not have spilled half my wool wash on the kitchen counter the other day and cleaned it up with a dishtowel :hide: Now, can I wash said towel with the rest of my towels, or is it going to lanolize all my bath towels, bibs and napkins? Should I just throw the lanolized towel away?

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j219/sugarbottom7617/Misc%202/indifferent0028.gif I'm so bored. I'm waiting for dipes to dry, clothes to wash, and DH to get home. I need clothes clean so I can pack the kids for my parents house tonight. We have reservations at 6:30, so that means we need to be leaving my parents house no later than 5:15, which means we need to leave here no later than 3:45 to give us time for the 50 min drive there and time to settle them in and the 45 min drive to the restaurant. My mom doesn't think Abby will do well there over night, so after we eat I have to call and see if Abby is asleep, if she is we are going to go to a movie (if not we will go pick her up) and than after the movie we have to drive the 45 mins back to my parents, pick up Abby, drive the 50 mins home, than tomorrow afternoon we have to drive the 50 BACK to my parents to pick up the other 2. Oh the things we do for some alone time. :goodvibes: :giggle: But let me tell you, all that driving is well worth it to go sit in a nice restaurant and eat fondue :yummy: I can't wait!!!

Katie7617
02-07-2009, 11:47 AM
All my B4s serging turns in too. It seems like they shrink alot the first couple of times you wash them. I always try to run my finger around there to turn the serging back out, but never fails, it always turns back in.

Katie7617

Love the pregnancy pics Kristen!

I don't have any old size B4s, but I believe Tara said there is a big size difference in them. She posted comparison pictures in a thread on Extra Fluffy with the title B4 prints or something like that. I'll see if I can find it.

Katie7617
02-07-2009, 11:52 AM
K, I was wrong, it wasn't Tara that posted it, it was someone else. But here is the thread B4s (http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=663087) the pictures are on the first page.

Well I know the one I have on him has so much stretch left in the legs and you can even see in the pic that the fabric is bunched up that I could probably get away with folding the rise over. So if it is an older style then even these will fit us a while :giggle:

It's been a rough day around here..

I decided to go back on zoloft . I really founght with myself about it but ended up eating the pill. I guess I'll just have to starve myself so I don't gain more weight.

DH took R out this morning but screwed around and went too late so R feel asleep in the car on the way home for 5 min then wouldn't take a nap till 4 and only slept 30 min.

Hubby just left to see a wrestling show in Orlando and is staying overnight. I miss him already.

R is eating dinner and then we're gonna run to the grocery store.

If you don't select the right shipping it will often let you change it if you go to your purchases, select pay and then the invoice screen lets you change what was previously selected. I have more than once forgot to select the right shipping option on spots and HC.
