Good morning everyone!!! i am TIRED! DH had "game" night w/ his fiends last night..which really they all just sit around , get drunk, and play video games.. so he spent the night at his buddies.. i don't sleep well when he is not home.. and both kids were restless (we co-sleep w/ both of them)

And well, he is the one to usually get up w/ our early bird.. and Evan and I sleep in.. so today i am up.. and i don't want to be :)

Sorry for the Sob story! lol

QOTd: is there any other product you'd like to see S'bish make that they don't??

my answer, woven hemp or cotton rib or something.. but non wool karate pants for pl'ed kids! i looove the fit of them on Evan, and i want some for Faelynn :goodvibes:

Hmmm... for question of the day... I'd be interested in wool wraps with snaps.... maybe also a 'newborn stash tote'(imagine what an awesome shower gift that would be!) with both bamboo and hemp fitteds(you could choose xs or s or mix of both) along with a soaker...

Hello Everyone! (Re-posting from the old thread. I posted pretty late last night.)

My best friend & her DH (also a good friend) traveled up & visited for the day w/their LO (who is 7 mos). We had such a wonderful day! And it is amazing how much house work gets done here when company is OTW! :giggle:

Got 2 of our sm. covers from a previous tote yesterday that are so soft, thick, & nice...but too small. So I ordered another new med. It's weird...our 1st ever was sm. older & so soft thick & fits my 18lb & my 21 lber...but no other smalls newer or older have...so I guess we need mediums no matter what. The 1st (sm) that fits is the natural double layer...not sure if because it has the less lycra & was older...maybe it was stretched out good? Not sure.

Does wool store well? I was just wondering. Trying to decide whether to keep for our next LO down the road or try to trade for meds./FSOT. That would mean they would be in storage for 3-4 more years. What are your opinions/experience with storing wool? It's just so hard to let go of them...love the colors...GN...very soft/thick. But it would be nice to have maybe a few more Med. covers. Hmmm....:headscratch:

For the Q. I'd love to see the tote bags themselves offered separately...I would love one for the beach & for going grocery shopping & Nat. food ctr. :)

Thanks mama!!! How exciting for you too! I am so ready for this...I can't believe I haven't gone yet. My dd was early so I was expecting this one to be too.

Do you know what you're having? I am having a surprise! It's driving me crazy. I want to meet this LO. :lostit:

Michelle - SS about your LO. If you ever see a graphite in M, let me know know.

Congrats to all the expectant mamas! My boys came at 35.5 weeks, so I can't wait for a full-term pregnancy. :giggle:

QOTD - Hmm, I'm not sure. The only Sbish experience I have so far is with the diapers, so I don't have any suggestions.

Good morning all.

QOTD: I would like to see wool that isn't cut so trim. I like the selection already but the cut is too trim for my chunker, which makes the sizing difficult.

I agree....I just put on the brown karate pants we got in our tote today on dd. I had a hard time getting them over the diaper. The waist is so tiny...although my dd is really small so I don't want them much bigger but it just seemed to be really small. Once they are on they seem fine. They are new so they may stretch out once I wash them & she wears them more.

I am going to post a pic of the brown pants...someone wanted a pic on Fri of them. :)

Good morning everyone! My dd and I are getting ready to head to our favorite resale shop and see if we can get a few things. I just got my check in from Fischer Price since our pack n play got recalled....I loved it, it was the rainforest one...anywho, we need another packnplay. Last week there was a White wood winnie the pooh toy box for $20, so I'm really hoping I can score some good deals today!

I'm starting to get my paypal built back up, and its already burning a hole in my pocket! Hopefully I can find some awesome Sbish deals...I'd buy it all if I could!

both my babies were surprises :)

as far as the tightness of the pants.. i think after wash and wear they stretch more and more.. still not ideal for super chunkers though (sorry blake!) but if you think about it this way.. there is a lot of roomy interlock out there.. what about the skinny babe?

Hi all!

Miranda - I love the idea of her making non-wool pants for PL'd kids. We still use the wool for dd - good for cooler weather - but I would love other fabrics as well.

Wow, so many babies coming! Good luck to you expectant mamas :goodvibes:

I def agree with this - the graphite pair we received in December is much easier to work with now.

Great idea! I second that! I am hoping some of the stuff we have OTW will fit DS. I had to shake him into a med. soaker...but hoping the pants will fit with a smidgen more room. The large would be far too big in the length & rise.

Juliette is 2 months old and weighs 11lbs. She hasn't outgrown them completely yet, she still has the last 2 snaps to go, but I just like the way they look all snapped up. The XS fitteds are the only thing that fit her well. She was 5lbs at birth and dropped a little below 5lbs. The XS fit her great.

happy Presidents Day Mama's!

We just got home a little while ago....DH and I took AJ down to George Washington's birthplace for a fun filled day of history. DH's family goes every year. It was very cold...But very beautiful. They had people reenacting different parts of the farm....the guy in the weavers area was cool...he showed us how to make straw or hay into fiber ....My MIL was walking around picking up bits of sheep wool.....she joked about making AJ a sweater.

Anyway, onto SBish business:giggle2: I think I am good on pants, Unless someone has a M/L pair of Squash pants they don't need. I really should just be buying shorts from here on out. I am also still up in the air about selling off some more knit longies...I just can't make up my mind. I had DH give his input on which pairs I should sell. All the colorways he said to sell are my favs:banghead: Go figure:giggle2:

Hey mamas. :)
Checking in. I got a pic of my dd in the brown pants today however my card was acting weird & saying it wasn't formatted..it was dh's card from work. Sooo I'll try to get it up if not tonight but maybe tomorrow.

I don't know if an interlock sleep sack would work for a newborn...just an idea. LOL

I've used a lot of other interlock & for some reason I really like sbish the best. It just doesn't pill like others.

Sorry for picking your brain but I've got a lot of questions about the fit of the xs vs s and hadn't yet found anyone. :giggle:

I wish I had known about something like this three years ago as my boys were barely 4 lbs when I brought them home... tried pfs and pul and it just didn't work out, so sposies it was.

I was bracing myself for another preemie this time around, but I've hit 36 weeks w/no signs of going soon so I'm switching gears.

Do you also use the sbish wool(curious about xs sizing!)... how about the xs hemp fitteds??

Please update when you get your small tote -- would love to hear/see how the small fit your LO at the size she is now -- thank-you!

Hi all! We just got back from the park and the airport. My cousin and his girlfriend left today to go back to Chicago. They are having a rough winter:(
But FL was a great break for them, it was 60 and sunny today. :yay:

I would love some T&T diapers from Sbish. We had a good stash of the hemp fitteds when we started cding at 4 months. They were my fav but we had to move on to T&T diapers.

I think I have some sbish scoop! Erin posted in the fluffy mail thread months back with pics of some Navy blue pants, they weren't wool and was something new they were working on is what she told me in a PM.

I think they are for pl'd LOs because isn't her youngest pl'd now?

She still has large natural flats on her site on sale for $7.50... good deal. It seems like a lot of people are wanting nearly new prices on used, 2 year old dipes... I'd rather get them brand new for the same price or less.

Banana Peels diapers is selling them retail price($14) but they have all the fall colors and offer free shipping on orders of $50.

other good interlock that i think is comparable to s'bish is pb&e but she doesn't so a lot of wool, and i hear good things about rainbow waters.. but my first pieces are coming to me in a co-op sometime soon. both luxe and wcw i have owned have pilled pretty bad :)

oh michelle, i am the same way about diapers being all snapped up, i really don't know why either..

i don't think the flats come in XS, but they are not very bulky for folding down the rise. i still fold down the rise on the meds for evan ..they are soo trim :)
