We are flying in the begining of April on Air Tran. They have said we could use any FAA approved seat. (We are getting that in writing) We are putting all 3 of our kids in car seats. My oldest will be in a Radian XT which I'm sure will fit just fine. But the other 2 kids will be in their Boulevards. Does anyone know if they will fit? If not what would be an inexpensive car seat to puchase for the trip?

the cosco scenara is on sale at walmart for like $35 and it fits

i would assume the boulevard would fit because i know a couple people who use a marathon on the plane.

I have traveled with dd's marathon on numerous occasions. (We have a boulevard too--they are basically the same except for the movable headrest thingy--but have never taken it on the plane). Marathon fits just fine with 2 points worth noting:
-ask the flight attendants for a seat belt extender, otherwise the buckle gets really buried and is nearly impossible to undo.
-there is very little leg room for an 'older' child, this became a big problem when dd was around 3-3 1/2. she couldn't help but kick the seat in front of her, especially if it was reclined.
