I'm thinking of buying a wipes warmer. Are they worth it? Are you able to find a use for it after your LO is potty trained and you're no longer changing diapers?

A neighbor got us one, I thought I'd never use it and it was a useless purchase, turned out, we used it all the time, every diaper change with my daughter.....I was totally proven wrong on that one....I do plan to use it again with this baby, it was nice during the winter time to get a warm wipe out to wipe her little hiney and not fully wake her up in the middle of the night....

I also think it was a waste of money. The wipes were cold again right after you pull them out before you have time to wipe a baby butt!

Baby butts are so cute, aren't they :giggle2:

As long as you don't use more than 4 wipes at a time, you should be good! With ours, the wipes were cold after the 4th one!!

I would say it honestly depends on the child! I used one with my ODS and my YDS and *LOVED* it. However, with my DD, we no longer use it. We purchased one as we had given away all our baby products after YDS and to me, it has been a wasted $20.

I ended up buying another. One I use constantly in the baby's room and one in the kitchen so my older dd's can wipe their faces. We use the one in the kitchen in place of paper towels.

I couldn't survive without mine! Our baby SCREAMED for diaper changes, and he still screams if I touch his bum with a cold wipe.

I've recently switched to using cloth wipes in the wipe warmer and love it! I can fit about 10 of those cheapie wipes in there.

No warm wipes when you are on the go so my baby gets the same room temp wipes at home.

I always just held wipes in my hand for a little bit while taking off the dirty diaper and by the time it was off, the wipe was warm. Of course, I've had all summer babies and our house is hot so it might have been soothing to having something cooler on the bum! lol

Originally I thought we would never get one but we ended up getting one. DS was so little and thin (6#) and I just felt so bad that the wipes were cold. Later I kept the wipe solution bottle in there when we switched to cloth diapers.

I like the idea of having one. I hate when wipes are cold and I have to wipe my little mans butt. I want one!

Well, I decided to buy one today. It is NICE. I've had 2 no-crying diaper changes so far. The cold wipes would send her in a crying fit every time.

Never ended up using mine on my dd or any of my daycare kids. Plus I couldn't fill up the warmer with wipes because the ones at the bottom would dry out before I got to use them.....maybe I just had a bad one. For me, it was just another thing taking up counter space and an outlet, not worth it.
