She got an offer of 60,000 dollars from Albright..she likes it there so we shall see what others offer and how much she can get in grants and aid...but it was so exciting!

Awesome! How much of her education/room/board will that cover? That seems like a lot!

Thats fantastic, congratulations.
Our oldest Ds is at a private University and they gave him a scholarship that paid more than half his tuition and room and board, Cal grant covered a huge part and we were left with a tiny amount. It's so good to not need to take out huge loans to get this stuff covered.
I was a nervous wreck waiting to see the offer.

yea, the school is like 37,000 a year so it would be 15,00 a year..it was the second best scholarship they offer..so we were happy. It is not her first choice college, it is her second choice though and is much closer to home than her first so i like it..lol.

Her first choice does not send out acceptances til April! And it is near Boston, so a 5 hr drive from us..this one is only an hour drive..then i can see my baby more often...lol..but I would be thrilled with either!
