Well, after being in the truck for about 10 days, we have arrived. Looking for a place to rent at the moment, but once we're in a house in the next couple of weeks I'll be wanting to meet someone. So, just giving y'all the heads-up. We will be settling somewhere north of Craig Rd. We looked at a place today that we liked off of Lamb near 215 and have a couple more places we're hoping to look at more in the north-west section of town.
Oh, and do any of y'all know of any co-ops in the area? I would be interested in possibly getting my flours at co-op prices and would love a raw milk co-op.

welcome to vegas! me too live in vegas and to answer your question i do not know of any co-ops in area. i do know there a pig farm up in the area your looking at but i not sure if they sell raw materials.. but there a great orchard over off 215 and 95 called gilcrease orchard they sell fruits n veggies you pick your own.

Ooooh! How cool! We LOVE pick your own farms. We do it every trip to Michigan in the summer. Last year we picked peaches and this year I'm hoping we're there for blueberry picking.
Anyway, I would love to have a get-together. I am near the corner of Ann and Rainbow. Is anyone in the area or willing to drive up here this next week to the kids can play and I can talk to someone who doesn't think I'm crazy for using cloth diapers?? We don't have a second vehicle yet, which was why I was hoping someone would come up here. Soon I'll be able to go meet other places.

i'm off the corner of ann and rainbow too. i'm back to work now, but would love to do something on the weekends or in the evenings. i'm new to cloth diapering, so i have a lot to learn and i need to build up my stash.
