I a thinking of knitting some projects (Play food type) to sell and I was wondering if people in general would pay more for a project that was made from 100% wool yarn rather than wool ease.
TIA

I would, just because I prefer 100% natural everything when I can. I'm not a fan of wool ease.

In my experience wool ease gets really pilly with use. like reeeally pilly. I learned to knit on it because it was cheap but won't use it at all now, it just doesn't hold up.

Not a fan of wool-ease here either. Though it may not be too bad for play food. I'd still pay more for natural fibers though.

For clothing, yes I would. But not for play-food. In fact, I would want my playfood to be made out of machine-washable, super-durable acrylic.

Wool ease doesn't hold it's shape nearly as well as wool, so I would say yes. Cotton is a great vegan option.

Me too. Or preshrunk cotton or felted wool, so I can throw it in the wash without worrying about it. My kids manage to leave messes behind I find weeks later. I don't trust them to be any different with play food. :)
