Thinking of purchasing a heat press to laminate PUL film onto appropriate materials. Lots of mama's feel laminated cotton has a tendency to leak- so I can offer to laminate your fabric (polyester is I think the best choice) so you can make a custom diaper of your own lovely fabric.
Any thoughts?
Is this interesting to you mamas?
I would probably charge about $4.00 for a 20x16 piece of cloth. This should be big enough for any diaper cover size, right? :headscratch:
Would really appreciate you feedback- positive or negative before charging ahead with this idea.
Thanks Mamas!

I make Extra large diapers that measure 23"X 21". Would you have pay by inch too??

The press measures 20x16. I was thinking the same price no matter the size up to 20x16. Multiple pieces would have discount breaks: 5-20 pieces $3.00 a piece, 20 or more pieces $2.00 a piece.
Not having used one yet, I don't know if I could laminate half the fabric and then the other half in two stages.??
I will find out though!

I send all my fabrics to Fabrite to Get DIYed for way less per yard.

That might be a little bit too small of section for a lot of people. Very cool though.

That's something I would consider paying for.

I don't think most of my diapers would fit on that size. Great idea though.

I would perfer a larger size. I need at laest 18x20, but I perfer larger for making larger diapers. You could probably get some business though! Good luck!
