I just got a call that my Grandparents were in a pretty bad car accident. They are ok for the most part. But it was a head on collision and the other driver was life-flighted. He's a young kid only 24 years old.
I'm really shook up so I can only imagine how they feel. My grandmother was taken to the hospital for precautionary x-rays and my grandfather was going to go get checked out as well.
Please pray for all involved.

Here's the update, so far. My Grandma has a cracked rib and a crack in her left wrist. They finally talked my Grandpa into getting checked out and they were x-raying his knees. I haven't heard anything about the young man health-wise. But we did hear that he has already had 3-4 tickets for driving recklessly.

Grandpa has a broken knee cap and is pretty confused. He has dementia and keeps asking where the car is and when they tell him it's in the shop because of the accident he asks "what accident?". sigh.
Grandma actually has 3 cracked ribs and a cracked wrist. She has trouble getting up and can't lay down. She isn't eating very well as she is having trouble swallowing (unrelated problem).
We have heard mixed stories about the guy that hit them. My sister was told that he was ok, pretty much just banged up. My Grandma heard that he had lots of facial cuts, which is why they were so concerned at the accident site (a ton of blood), but he is home and ok.
