I really feel like I should know this, but.... my middle daughter was prone to yeast infections, and I am 95% sure my youngest is getting one. I will take her to the ped if I have to but I would rather treat her here. What can I do? She hasn't started yogurt yet, but she is only 11 months. She doesn't have an allergy to regular milk though. I eat yogurt nearly every day. Any help would be appreicated! I did google it but I want something for babies and most of the info I got was for adults.
TIA :) :goodvibes:

I have been told that even putting yogurt inside her vagina will work, but feeding it to her works great too. I am not very up on natural stuff, but I do always eat yogurt whenever I get an antibiotic cuz if I don't I WILL get a yeast infection guaranteed. I hate yogurt, but I would rather eat yogurt than get a yeast infection anyday!

I instantly thought of tampon with Tea Tree Oil.... but you said she's only 11 months... that won't happen. I'd put her in some warm water with TTO and let her sit in it for awhile.

I've heard that putting yogurt on her girl parts will help, never tried it myself though. It will help relieve the soreness as well

I''ve given my daughter baby probiotics--both a powder disolved in a little water on a spoon and a strawberry flavored liquid. Do you have a local health food store near you? They might be able to recommend something formulated just for babies.

Pro-biotics will fix it in a couple days! DH was getting thrush in his mouth and I started him on pro-biotics nd he cleared up in 2 days! It replaces all the stuff that has been killed off, and that's what is causing the infection.
