I just found this many and multiples about a week ago. I have enjoyed reading the threads!
I see others that have received many negative comments on their big families. We were blessed with 4 in 5 years. Often I get comments or looks. I could care less. Tonight, however something wonderful happened. I took my oldest two to dance classes and the owner said "with your size family you can take up to 6 classes at no additional charge". So I am going to get to take a ballet/jazz class for FREE! All because of my big family:lostit: .
Anyone else have happy stories to share?

One time my mom was taking my family out to dinner for some reason, I don't remember why, maybe my birthday or something? Anyway, the Mgr came up to our table after we ordered and said that a gentleman who was paying his bill bought a $50 gift card for us because we had such a beautiful large family and you don't see that very often and he wanted to make our night a little easier. Isn't that sweet?? :goodvibes: My mom felt bad because the Mgr took it off of our bill that night and it was her treat and they took $50 that was meant for our family, so she bought us another GC for somewhere else and gave it to us. LOL
We don't get that type of reaction very often from strangers in general, but we do get a lot of compliments on how well behaved our kids are, especially in a restaurant.

Thats awesome! Maybe I should start asking for discounts. After all they do come Cheaper By the Dozen hahah. I know, lame. I love it when I get compliments, is so few and far between compared to the other comments.

Love it! We get the same at our children's museum, and soccer :) Having a large family is a POSITIVE!!!

Well of course they viewed your many as a positive! I do everytime I think of them!!!! ;) I love this though & am soooo happy for you! The restaurant story is sooo touching too!
