Ok.
I have a pair of
Capezio tan tap shoes size 12...elise wore them for a week for recital and now they are too small!! aahhhh!!
paid $40 asking $15.
Also have 2 pair of size small Capezio footed tights...color sun #14c....one is new in package and the other was used for recital(basicly new)
height 38-48inches/weight 35-50 lb.
Paid $12 each....asking $3 for the used pair and $8 for the NIP pair.
I also have a XS pink danskin ballet skirt....in awesome condition....asking $2

I don't want these but I just felt compelled to tell you I feel your pain about spending soo much money on something that only gets worn once. My 5yo danced as a guest with a professional company last year in the Nutcracker and I paid 25 + shipping for a pair of tights. They had to be a certain color and the only place that carried them in her size was the NY Ballet! On top of that she had to have two different colored camisole leotards that you couldn't even see under the costume. Oh, I was told she had to get extensions put in b/c her hair was not long enough to put back in a bun without them. Let me tell you that in the first act her hair was completely covered by the costume and in the second act they wore it half up half down. I laid out over $350 for that one day!

Here she is in her cherub costume. All the money was worth it b/c she had an amazing experience and opportunity to dance with professionals at the age of six. We will not do it again though.
