We have 4 already (the youngest is 26 months) and I had a tubal in jan. 2008. I've never really regretted it before but for the past few weeks, I have been wanting another lo. and it's getting worst...and I just know I'm headed for a major low if I don't get this out of my head...
I've been thinking about adoption but DH doesn't want to. IVF is another option but paying 10 000$ + for a child when you used to be able to conceive on your own seems like a waste to me. Tubal reversal is tempting but I'm kinda embarrassed to ask my doctor for it since I had the tubal done less than 2 years ago.
I know there isn't much more I can do...just wanted to vent
I keep hoping my stupid clips will fail and I'll find myself preggo :lostit:
hope my sister who comes here a lot doesn't see this...she'll have a big ol' ''I told you so'' moment :banghead:

Siss.....put your girly panties on and go for a reversal will ya. Go see a different doctor if you feel ashamed. Do you really think it's the first time this ever happened. I'm sure a lot of mamas regretted their decision.....maybe that's why they invented the reversal...DUH !!!!!!
You just know you won't get this out of your head.....maybe you felt done at the time and just made a mistake.....your a goddess in my eyes but you still have the right to make mistakes ya know.....now go reverse and join me in the ttc forum :thumbsup:

I am so in the same boat as you. I thought I would feel done after having #5 but, I was crying over the fear of never having another before I even went in the operating room. I knew it wasn't what I wanted. I just figured it was time to raise the kids we had and space-wise and financially we are pretty maxed out.
DH has mentioned adoption but, truthfully I don't want another baby in 5 or 6 years when all my others are bigger I want one now!! I constantly mention a reversal to hubby and he's just not having it. It consumes me at times =( So now I've been nagging for another dog.lol
I hope all the time my tubal will fail me. If your hubby is for the reversal then I say go for it.

((Hugs)) I had my tubes tied last Aug. after my twins were born...and I"m in the same boat as you. I would love to have another baby in a few years. I knew I was done after the twins, but now...I just don't think I really was.

I'm pretty much a newbie here but HAD to ad my:2cents:
I had 7 kiddos and deeply regretted my TL... after YEARS of lamenting and debating we finally went on faith and had it done ~ My first reversal baby was born 5-19-09 (TR 2-15-08) and my DEEPEST regret is that we waited SO long, Im 41 and dh is 50. Should have had it done years ago and possible had more blessings:cry: I'm now a Mom of 8 and would welcome as many as God will give!
If both you and your husband are prayerful and agree, I say don't wait! Git R Done!:giggle2:
