This morning when I was getting the kids in the car, I fell on my side while I was holding Kyla. I didn't hit my stomach at all, nor did Kyla get hurt, thank God! Should I be worried? I figured since I fell on my side, I should be ok, but now people have me worrying about it, lol! Should I call the m/w just to be sure? I am only 21 weeks and baby has been moving a bit for a while, not alot but I usually feel her everyday, and I have felt her move since I fell, I think. I can't overly remember, Kyla just went down for her nap, lol!
What do you think? I don't want to be paranoid, but I can't help it, it is my nature, hee hee!

I wouldn't worry too much... but then I tend to not allow myself to freak out. When I was preggers with dd we practically totaled dh's car by hitting a dear when I was 7mo. The dr told me as long as the baby was moving about the same as normal that he wasn't concerned either. He said to do a kick count anytime I was concerned. For the life of me I am not sure how many movements you are supposed to feel in an hour or whatever it is, but I remember that we were supposed to see how long it took to get 10 movements and mine usually took less than 10 minutes with both of my last two babies... but they were litterally worms! :hugs: mama... if you are concerned you should call your dr, if they are concerned then you should be... and hey.. you could get a free peekers at that baby if they want to take a look!

I think the reason I worry is that since I am only 21 weeks, it is too early to do kick counts...the fact that I didn't fall on my stomach makes me feel fairly safe!
I have an appt on Wednesday, I will mention it then and see what she thinks!
Thanks mama! I feel better knowing other people wouldn't freak :)

If you can feel the baby move, drink some water, and lie down, wait for kicks.
If you are ever worried it doesn't hurt to call your m/w and see what she thinks!!
