I cannot wait to quit working! How are you preggo mama's coping with the jobs you have? I work in at Big Lots doing recovery and putting up freight, basically on my feet the whole time. It seems I'm so tired lately and quite frankly, I'm sick at looking at the place and dealing with customers. I decided to stay on until after christmas but it seems like such a long, long time away.
I actually thought about calling in tomorrow. I never call in and I'm working during the day so there will be plenty of other people there but I keep thinking about how full the warehouse is so I know I'm just gonna go in.
I hate you Big Lots.... yall please jump in and whine about your jobs too!

I'm a SAHM and some days I want to quit my job.
Kidding, but I'd like to have someone watch my kids for 20 minutes.

Working sucks when you're pregnant, especially if you're anticipating a long absence in the near future.
I worked full-time (+ required overtime; from 5-7 months, I was working 48-56 hours/week) until a few weeks before DD was born.
It was very taxing on my body and honestly, a lot of issues that I had within my pregnancy were gone within a week of going on maternity leave.
I went back to work when DD was 7.5 weeks old. And still work FT. ;)

I hear you! My job is not really all that physically taxing, but it is very dusty and dirty. I have given them a heads up at work, that I will probably be finished around December 18th. I am not due until March 8th, but had placenta previa and gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy so hubby wants me to take it easy the last couple of months. I am handling my work at work pretty well most days, but my house work is severely lacking at the moment. I just don't have it in me to do it when I get home. I also have been having some pains so; hubby and my mom have been keeping me in the recliner with my feet up on the weekends and evenings. I would love to quit now so that I could take care of my home responsibilities, but for now I will stick it out. My 20 week ultra sound is on Friday, I am hoping they can shed some light on the pre labor, or whatever it is. This is my 3rd pregnancy with my 4th child, and I have never had pre labor. Ugh!

I am so finished with work. I am an in home daycare provider and I'm just tired of cleaning up messes, dealing with my boss (way too OC...she thinks my house should be spotless...a whole other vent there!), and just getting up early in the morning to get things going for the day. Unfortunately, we didn't sell our house (we were forced to move due to being military) and so we are paying the mortgage on our house and our rent here. We are trying to rent our house, but haven't yet. So, I have to work in order to support an empty house.
