My friend just found out yesterday that she has stage 4 melanoma. She was 28 weeks pregnant, so they delivered the baby via c/s this morning. He weighed 2lbs 9oz and is 15 inches long. I haven't heard any updates abut him, but he looks really good. I'm more worried about my friend. Stage 4 doesn't sound good. She also has 2 boys at home. Please keep the whole family in your prayers!

I don't post much here but had to after this. I was diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma June 2008. I've had lung surgery, radical hysterectomy and radiation to my leg all due to the cancer. I'm no evidence of disease right now. It's such a scary diagnosis but it's not a death sentence.
It's a rough road, I'll be thinking and praying for your friend. :hugs: :hugs:
