She has a pre-operative appointment tomorrow and hopefully can get scheduled for a biopsy on Thursday. She has a ton of swollen lymph nodes in her neck. Two were there last week but more have since shown up.

My father died from lymphoma, and it's genetic, so they're really worried about Hodgkin's lymphoma. :cry:

Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers!

Semi-positive update:

We saw the specialist today. He is leaning away from the possibility of Hodgkins and thinks she may just have a severe viral infection (which wouldn't respond to antibiotics anyway). They took a ton of blood from her today and he's going to look at that and see her again next week. He wants to hold off on the biopsy unless it's really necessary.

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster!

O mama :( I can only slightly imagine how difficult this must be for you and your family. I will remember you and your daughter in my prayers tonight. Hopefully everything will turn out be non cancerous or not life threatening.

My daughter was 2 when we noticed swollen lumps knodes on her neck. she had them taken out and biopsyed. they were NORMAL healthy lump knodes. after it was removed another one grew in its place. and now all my kids I have now 4 have them on there necks not big but u can feel them under there skin. on my 2 year old boy u can see it a little below his left ear the size of a pea when he turns his head. .

I just wanted to share my positive story. Its very hard stressful. I think I cryed my eyes out for weeks.
