got my "new" radian 65 today from diapers.com, it has a DOM of 12/2008. Needless to say, it is going back.

I was just on the phone yesterday with them quizzing them about DOM, I ordered a RNXT, she said they always have new stock w/ new DOM....now I'm nervous

That stinks! They do have a longer expiration than most carseats though (pretty sure 8 years, it says in the manual). So you'll still get 7 years out of it. If you can live with that, try calling diapers.com and asking if they will credit back some of the purchase price to make up for the year-old seat. They'd probably rather refund some money than have to pay for shipping back and lose the sale.

I think this is what someone else complained about but they bought their seat from another online store and it was a year old already.

It's my understanding that they have quit making the regular Radians (non-SL models) so you won't get a brand-spanking new one, but if you payed full price, I would ask Diapers.com to credit you some of it. A year is a lot of life of a seat, but as someone else said, they do have an 8-year life, so you'll still get 7 out of it if you keep it.

I don't know if it will even fit in my car so I hate to haggle with them only to have to return it for install issues.
