So off I went today for my first trial of doing this and had a few items to get. I did two transactions and even asked the lady behind me if she wanted to go first (no, no hurry for her). I could tell the cashier was just being rude to me and not at all friendly when I was asking her about the ECB -wasn't sure if it was on the card or receipt.

Then, when I went to my car and checked the receipt she had charged me full price for a clearance item. I went back in and instead of apologising(sp?) she just said, well that shouldn't be on clearance, that's wrong, even though the clearance tag was on twice with the product name and clearance price. I just asked for it to be take off bill but really should have argued that it was marked.

Geez, are all the CVS people not happy with CVS'ers or is it just this lady. Next week I'm going to go monday and hope it's not her.

No not all of them are like that. I had never had a problem with any cvs cashier until recently. We just moved to this area less than 2 months ago and I recently started getting back into my cvs'ing. The one I first went to everyone was super nice and it was a big nice cvs too BUT they were out of everything and the coupon printer wasn't working(it hasn't worked ever for me, I have been there probably 4 times now) so I decided to go to another town to try that one. I had one of those $5/$30 coupons and of course it beeps. The lady was very rude about it and I didn't think she was going to take it but she said "I'll do it this one time!" Like I was doing something wrong, its just that coupon! Anyway, I hope you find another cashier who is nicer to you.

Oh how I hate that. I've been a CVSer for a long time and haven't had much problem, but I just recently started using Wags RR, and holy moly the attitude from my local store has been the worst. I was so fed up from my trip this week that I filed an complaint online, and the manager called me day later, apologized and gave me a gift card. The cashier who gave me so much attitude was a lot nicer after that.

((HUGS)) Mama. That stinks. The cashiers at my CVS have all been pretty nice to me. It's the manager who always gives me attitude. I actually saw him point me out to one of the cashiers one time. I'm sure he only said "There's that girl who comes in and gets all the deals" But still it upset me.

I don't go very often anymore. CVS is a 10 mile drive away to the next state and to be honest the deals haven't been that great in a long time.

Only gone twice and no issues so far. First trip was average, cashier not rude or particularly friendly. Second trip the cashier was very nice, told me about how great the deals were and how she's seen people get like $100 worth of stuff for like $10. Even made sure I scanned my card for coupons. maybe I should send in a compliment for her, didn't even realize how rare this might be.

That's funny because I think she was the manager too! Hoping I'll get a teenage cashier next time -how crazy is that. If she's snarky again I'm just going to ask her if she has a problem with people using ECB/coupons and ask for her name. Thinking that might set her straight. Don't work there if you don't like your companies promotions!

Hoping next time is better -I actually have to go back tomorrow for wrapping paper- thought I was stocked but I'm not.
