BTDT, my oldest is in the Air Guard and left for basic 3 weeks after high school graduation. I is a tough 8 weeks but they really do make adults out of them! Are you planning on attending his graduation ceremony? We went to ds's and it was awesome. Hang in there mama...you can do it.

i definitely second (or third) the idea of going ahead and starting to write him some letters. just don't put anything in there that could be potentially embarrassing (sometimes the TI's read them and/or have you stand up and read it to the whole flight :banghead:) photographs are great too!

I am doing okay, Adam was crying and saying don't go:cry: It was hard but he is okay now. Tomorrow will be super hard with him. Katy was very sad this am too. I know I have a hard week ahead. I will not have an address for at least a few more days. i know when I was in bootcamp (a million years ago) i loved mailcall!!!!!! He will be getting daily letters:thumbsup:

my father is in the air force and my cousin is in the army, both are currently serving in iraq, although seperatly. we couldn't be prouder!
