Question-- I know that I can put a bottle of room temp or cold formula that hasn't been touched back in the fridge, but what about formula that has been warmed?
Once in a while I will warm a bottle for DD ahead of time, and she falls asleep, or isn't hungry in time, is that bottle no good anymore or can I put it back in the fridge? Wasn't sure if warming changed it somehow.

We do it all the time and did it with our first DD, too. The nurses at the hospital said not to let it sit out more than 1.5 hours.

Okay! Thanks, I knew about the rough 1 hour time limit, but wasn't sure if for some reason the warmed formula was different.

I will let it sit out for up to an hour but it says not to refrig. it - husband has - no harm done but I'm paranoid mom - its more of an issue if she starts/stops with bacteria. Different formula bottles say different things.

It would be fine. Some people boil water to make formula (to purify it) and then stick it in the fridge.
Just don't let it sit out more than an hour and a half.

If they've been touched it's 1hr but can go 1.5hr at the most. If it's been made and NOT touched it's 2hrs at room temp and 24hrs in the fridge. :)

I have done it with all 3 of my girls and they are turning out ok! I think it is ok as long as it isn't out to long. I would even put a warmed bottle in the fridge after it was drank out of with my first. Oops I didn't know better at the time! But she seems ok too! LOL

On the formula bottles it says not to reuse.. I'm paranoid so I don't do it - they also say not to mix formula with breastmilk - we tried it as we felt bad throwing away the breastmilk son's birthmom was pumping - I can't imagine the harm but his stomach didn't like it and the ER said not to - it could just be our kid, old breast milk, etc... and it was a lousy ER who wasn't up on newborns.
