I just started pumping again, but last time I changed them approximately every other month. I pump a lot because I have to take overnight calls at the hospital about once a week in addition to my normal schedule. You'll notice the suction on your pump changing when they get old because they won't lie flush with the little yellow piece.

oh my gosh- seriously? I pumped for 10 months with the last kid and didn't make any effort to replace them and it seemed fine. Maybe would have worked better if I had!! I'll make sure to do it with this one. Thanks!

Thanks for the post. I just started pumping and it doesn't say anything about frequency in the manual.

Is this the big white one that is behind the yellow plate, or are you talkign about the little circles that go in the bottles?
If its the big one behind the yellow plate, where do you buy a new one? I've never replaced it and I strictly pump.

No, the little white disks that go in the bottle. I was thinking that somewhere I had read that it was like every 2 weeks and I did not think that I had replaced them that often when I was pumping with DD.

The little discs - I have only replaced 1 and I EP. I do have 3 sets of of stuff so I don't use them every time, but they get used at least once a day. I guess when I have issues I will replace.

Oh gosh, not until they were looking a bit ragged. I would say every 6 months or so.

Oh my goodness, I never replaced them when I pumped with DD#1.
Guess I should replace them when I start pumping again for DD#2:thumbsup:
