I bought some items off FSOT from a mama, dated 1/2/10.
It had been a few weeks and was still waiting on the items so I e-mailed her and got an e-mail back saying she has PPD really bad and would mail them as soon as it was possible. (not in the near future)
I e-mailed her again a month later just checking up.. still hadn't sent them...
I told her it was OK we wouldn't need them just yet, but it has been nearly 3 months total. I actually forgot about it and really don't need them anymore.
So I e-mailed her 2 nights ago asking for a refund and just got a pm from someone different, saying my seller is "in the hospital with her youngest" and the package went out on 3/18.
Just wondering what to do here. Am I stuck with these because I didn't cancel soon enough?
Should I just wait it out and see?
i don't want to give the poor mama a bad rating. I just feel like this is not right and she should have cancelled all sales, sending refunds. Help! :blush:

Hmm, this is a tough one. I might be wrong but it sounds like you said twice you were ok with the wait time for the items to be shipped. If you never comunicated you were wanting a refund if she did not send items by Xdate then I feel like they are your items.

I agree with pp. If you get the package and the date on it tells you that it was not shipped until after the email you sent 2 days ago, then I think you have a case to return and ask for a refund. If it had in fact been shipped on the 18th then I think they are yours to do whatever you want to with. Hopefully they are sellable if you don't need them anymore. Sorry! Tough situation all around.

I still don't have the package. No communication from the mama directly, just that one pm from another mama in HI. She is located in CA.
I can e-mail her again, I suppose. I know she is busy with life things but this is ridiculous.
What do I do now? Tell her Im going to file a pp dispute then file?

At this point the only thing you can do is email the mama again, hope for the best and contact a mod. Paypal wont do anything.

If it's been over 45 days you can't file a paypal dispute. So sorry mama :hugs:

I'd email, tell her you haven't received, the package, and you would like an immediate refund or you will be forced to leave negative feedback. Honestly, if she was capable of getting on the computer and answering PM's, she ought to have been capable of asking someone else to ship her items or issuing refunds. Perhaps I'm just unsympathetic though.

As I have said before- there are MANY moms on DS who have lots of "things" come up, but still get their packages MAILED. I would contact a MOD asap and then leave negative FB.

LOL. I did just that after I wrote this post. I told her I will give negative FB by Friday if I dont hear from her, etc. But I dont think she does DS anymore. probably won't matter. Hopefully I'll get an e-mail soon! I dont even need these things anymore!
