So we are currently *NOT* trying to get pregnant. I just finished my second round of clomid (seeing as how I didn't have a period for a year before that, so I wasn't ovulating). Anyway-- I took a blood pregnancy test last week and it came back negative, but she said if I didn't get my period in a week to come back for another-- It has been almost a week (Tuesday). Any ideas-- or people that have heard of negative tests when you're actually pregnant? Thanks-

Nope a negative blood test is a NEGATIVE. Sorry. The blood test can detect very small amounts of HCG. It begins to rise as soon as the 1st day of implantation.

Even the blood tests take a few days after implantation to show up (about 6-8dpo is most accurate). I've had blood tests at 12dpo & had the # come back as 43 before, so if you went too early (or ovulated late) its possible to have totally missed the HCG.
