I am trying to decide if we are getting the h1n1 vaccination tomorrow. We are a very selective/ almost non-vaxing family, but the new stats have me worried. The number of pediatric deaths are almost 4 times more than predicted early in the season. The CDC is reporting 540 pediatric deaths. I have done a lot of research, but just can't make a decision. I also just found out the high school where my husband teaches is giving the mist to the students in a couple of weeks. I fear that if he doesn't get the vaccine he will get the flu from all the kids getting the mist. Any advice?

I know that this is long, but please help us with our dd! She is 21 months, and she has been a difficult spirited child since her first week. She is incredibly active, fairly aggressive (the daily biting has mostly passed but she still has a big hitting problem), and has a very low tolerance for frustration. She's very needy, and has regular meltdowns. Basically, she fits every definition of a spirited child. But, our biggest problem is that no disciplinary technique seems to affect her in any way.

For example, she has always been a picky eater, and in the last few months this has evolved into throwing food at every meal. We started off ignoring it. Then we tried saying "no" and explaining that she needs to tells us "all done" if she doesn't want the food anymore. Then, we tried growling and clapping like the Happiest Toddler on the Block recommends--she's just thought that was funny. So, we moved to timeouts--she thinks they're great fun and now requests them. We tried gossiping to her stuffed animals about how her behavior makes us feel--she started saying "Mommy sad. Daddy sad." and then chucking her food on the floor. We've removed her food after she throws it--but that seems to be exactly the thing that she wants. We made her help us clean up the food she throws--she thinks that cleaning up is a game. Finally, I'm ashamed to say that we resorted to yelling at her and slamming our hands on the table--she just started at us with a neutral/blank expression.

We do not want to spank her. We're totally out of ideas, though, about how to get her to behave. Her overall bad behavior is impacting me so much that I went to therapy for 9 months (it didn't really help me feel like any less of a failure), and I feel like my own beautiful little girl is an emotional terrorist to our family.

Please give me some ideas before I have a nervous breakdown!

I'm so excited!!! And of course I had a birth and baby dream last night and getting to hold that squishy newborn in a VERY vivid, life-like pregnancy dream did NOT help the situation!!!!

2 VGUC MotherEase Air Flow covers White size Small $10
2 NIP Dappi Diaper Pants $5

IV cover was sold to me used, but is in perfect like new condition. Great elastic, PUL and velcro, no stains on inside or outside of the cover. I purchased way too many newborn sizes, and need to work on my stash of smalls and mediums.

MEAF covers were sold to me used, and all but the Rainforest cover are in excellent condition. Great elastic, PUL and snaps, no stains on the inside or outside of the cover. I simply have too many of these!

MEAF Rainforest cover has one edge that is fraying. I've tried to take a picture to show this, but I doubt it will effect use.

Please feel free to PM me with questions or offers. I haven't had my baby yet, and at the moment don't have a great ISO list put together.

This is my first listing, please let me know if I've forgotten anything!

So last night i was ROBBED right out of my own driveway! It started when around midnight last night my dogs ( 2 dobbermans and a yorkie go figure.) were going crazy so i looked outside and didnt see anything then went back to sleep. About 15 minutes later they went nuts again and i didnt think anything of it because my sensor light wasnt on and i already checked so i ignored it. Well low and behold when i went to run errands this morning i found that my drivers side window was COVERED in some weird tape and broken and everything was taken. I left my bag in the car with money and a bunch of gift cards along with my navigation system. everything gone!
Some scumbag(s) broke my window to my car and looted everything! I am so livid i mean i locked my door and it was at my house! Last night when i got home my dh wasnt home and i had my 2 kids in the car and just did shopping so i didnt think to take my things out of the car i just locked it thinking that no person would coem on my property break my window and rob me! i called the cops and filed a police report ( pointless but felt like i had to) they told me the tape on the window absorbed the noise when they broke the window. I wish i let my dogs outside! who knows what they would have done though they arent friendly or maybe the pos would have had a gun and shot them. Funny thing is if i did let my dogs out and they mauled the guy the guy could turn around and sue me. Omg im sooooooo upset! I know times are hard but come on!

There are no stains and each dipe comes with both a full size and an infant size insert. I bought these off Diaperswappers, and they were new when I bought them. They have been used a handful of times. We are a no-smoking, doggie loving household. I use my own home-made laundry detergent and hang them up to dry.
I'm just not a lover of FuzziBunz. I really wanted to be, but I have found other brands of dipes I like better.
I would like to sell all 3 together, and am asking $39 for all. I would sell them individually for $14 each. Price includes fees, shipping and delivery confirmation.
Feel free to PM me if you have questions, or for pics. I will post them as soon as I figure out how! :headscratch:

We are having a surprise #4 though, and car seats have changed a lot and I'm out of the loop on current recalls/problem brands and features! LOL. I'm researching a little, and holy cow are they expensive now! I don't have $200 to spend on an infant seat when I'll need a new convertible seat later, but I am SURE I want an infant seat for ease in the beginning. What brands should I be looking at that are good in the lower price range?
