Do Frye boots run true to size?

I need to order some boots and there's not a possibility of trying them on. :/ Do they run true to size? Are they wide or narrow?

I go half size up with boots and loafers regular size. But that's bc I usually wear boots with thin socks and loafers with nothing. I have a narrow foot so I can't comment on width

they seem to run true to size, but run a bit narrow. before kids I had a regular width foot & I wore a pair of belted harness boots. they were a bit tight. now after 2 kids my feet are wide & I can not squeeze them into the boots. well I can but it feels like the bones in my feet are being squished :(

I love Frye boots!! They're my favorite riding boots!

Yes, they are true to size. Nordstrom carries them in store... Yet another reason I buy all my shoes from Nordies.

Did you find them on sale? I could always use another pair. ;)

I find they vary by boot. I have some that are true to size, some that I ordered a size up, and some (Frye wedges, not boots tho) that are a size down. I'd google the specific boot and try researching reviews on how they run. I find that different cuts will allow for the leather to age and stretch/mold differently too. There are seams, buckles and stitching that make each boot fit different from style to style.

Thanks for the input.

I wish I could go to Nordstrom and try them on but I won't be going to the States until this summer and I don't want to wait that long. :)

Have any of you bought any of the Frye flats? I have my eye on a pair...they look great. I bought 3 pairs of TOMS ballet flats last year and while they are cute, they leave something to be desired when it comes to quality. For what I spent on them, I could've bought 2 pairs of Frye flats, grr!

I've never tried their flats, but I do love my Lucky Brand flats! The quality is good, soft leather too.

Those are adorable! So they wear well? I walk around more than I drive, so I need shoes that hold up well.

I have the Reagan Campus driver loafers in brown and black. The black ones I pretty much more every single day for 6 months of pregnancy because they were the only comfortable shoes in that moment of time. IME Fryes hold up really, really well and are very easy to bring to a cobbler and have prettied up because the leather quality is very good.

I am not a TOMS fan. They are made cheaply.

Agree. I love frye.

I personally haven't seen any TOMS I've been impressed with. I think they are ugly.
