So...hi!

I did not expect to be here, but I got a BFP last night and here I am! :giggle:

We were NTNP and I did a pregnancy test 7 days ago at CD31 (my cycles usually last 30 days & I got a BFP with DD at 11dpo, before my period was due!!) it was negative!! Well CD38 and I decided to do another test, I seriously thought my period was late due to stress (Grandad is very unwell and we are flying to the UK to see him shortly) but it was a clear positive! DH and I only DTD 2 times (with him ejaculating inside me) and pretty early on! So I'm very surprised!!!

We were looking into buying a house (actually went to look at some yesterday!) so DH is kind of unhappy about the money situation/us not having a house of our own yet (we rent a 2 bed apartment). I am pretty excited, but nervous about having 2 under 2!

Trying to think of neat ways to tell family (if you know me on FB please don't tell... Hopefully my family isn't snooping on here either! :hide:) so if anyone has any good ideas? :D

Welcome!

I was always told if you wait for the "perfect" time to have kids, you'll never have them :giggle: good luck with finding a house!

Congrats! We are in a 2 br/1 ba apartment and have TWO kids and are hoping for more, but there's no way we can be in a house in the next two years unless one falls out of the sky. So if we get pregnant, we'll make do with what we have. And it will work out. :goodvibes:

Congrats! We are in a very similar situation - this pg is very unexpected, but a happy surprise, and our LOs will be ~19 months apart. This will also delay our moving plans by a year or 2 (we were planning on moving to a bigger house within the next 2 years), but I figure it's all the same in the end!

Congrats Charlotte!

We live in 1 bedroom.... literally. We rent a bedroom from my FIL. When this baby is born, we will have 3 under 3 (almost, my oldest turns 3 end of January), plus me, plus my DH in ONE room. I think you'll be fine in your 2 bedroom :giggle2:

This was how I told DH... I wrapped them up in a nice little bag and gave it to him

Congrats! Wonderful to meet you. Just rememeber, kids, especially little ones, need more love and support than they do space. Us Mamas want the space to create what we feel is home. I thought our home was an in between place and it always bugged me and so I did nothing with it. As soon as I accepted that this was where God wanted us for a while, I started seeing our home with my new content eyes. I poured some TLC into it and now I love it. :) Its all in the eye of the beholder. Oh, and a side note, my daughter prefers to sleep in her brothers' room with them than alone in her room. :)
