Thank you so much for the tutorial! I have 12 flats from LL and have yet to do anything with them put fold them like a prefold into a cover. This may be the kick in the butt I needed to try something new with them on my 3 y/o at night!

Finally I get to see a good pic of a LL flat!! Are these thick diapers? I have flats and I think mine are thinner than these....

Here is my DS... he's only a few days old here. I have some gauze flats and I just folded them into a prefold shape. DS is now a month old and I still use the the same fold with a washcloth doubler. I think I may want some LL flats though :).

Thanks so much for the tut! Very informative! And that holds all her pee? It doesn't leak through? I'm new to CDing so I have no idea. LOL!

Oh fun! I just took pics of DD2 this morning in her flats. This is the first time I've even cloth diapered a NB and I'm using LL flats exclusively. Actually, I was using NB pf's (I trimmed them myself, but they were GMD measurements), but was surprised to have an almost 10lb baby! So, anyway, the NB pf's no longer fit, and she is now in flats. Here are some pics. I use the origami fold (front folds under a couple inches).

I usually add a preemie PF as a doubler for flats, i have a heavy wetter. The flat I used in the pics for the tute was a bamboo jersey flat, but that fold works great with all types :) Glad I could help!

This thread is so making me want to try flats! I suck at pinning prefolds, though, so I'm scared to even try flats! Does a recieving blanket make a decent flat?

ok i have a silly question for y'all...do fold your flats and get them ready when you take them out of the laundry? dd's changing table is a bassinet and there's no way i could lay it out unfolded and start from scratch every time :giggle:
