I was able to look! The Western half portion has hard water. The majority of the East has regular water with a small portion having soft water. I don't know what town you are in though.

I think I have hard water, the local diaper shop says to get hard rock. I live in San Antonio, TX. It's right where the gray and green meet up.

Buying a water softener would be cheaper than switching to RnG. I use White King because I can find it in stores. There's Calgon, or you can even use washing soda.

How much do you use compared to the dosage on the box/bottle?

Re: Detergents

with hard water I would use the full recommended amount of detergent on the side of the box.

I'll try that. Thank you all very much for helping me!

Re: Detergents

I second the water softener, synthetic fiber diapers are notoriously difficult to get clean in hard water.
