What brand sausage do you buy for biscuits and gravy?

I have had a taste for biscuits and gravy for a while, but each time I fry a pound of sausage, I only get about 2 tablespoons of fat! Thats not enough, lol!

So what brand do you use?

Well I'm not sure about the fat, LOL, but I use Jimmy Dean.

I never have enough fat left over so I just add some lard before making the roux. Tastes awesome!

For sausage, I use Jimmy Dean. However, you will get more grease from frying up bacon. You don't have to use the bacon for breakfast. It can be kept to add to sandwiches, salads, etc. HTH
