Canning Supplies advice

What do those of you who can things think about this pressure canner? One review says she could fit 7 or 8 quart jars.

My garden had some issues this year (Early Blight took over tomatoes) so I won't be using as many home grown veggies as I'd like but I don't mind getting them at the farmers market or local store.

My goal is to make some canned soups/chili/spag sauce/etc. to use this fall after the baby comes (Due in mid November).

So if I have to spend a little more for the convenience of having meals ready, I am okay with it (this year! LOL).

Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated!!!

I have the 16 qt one and I can get 7 quarts in it. You can get 7 qts in that one, also and can double stack the pints if you have another rack (even the rack from the waterbath works) If I hadn't found the one I got with a ton of other canning supplies for $65, I would have gotten the 23 qt

Here's some good info on the pressure canners that are the most popular

I'm looking at the same one for canning sauce and dh gave me the go ahead so I'm hoping for opinions too. I can't afford a $200 one.

SAME HERE! If I had a larger garden, more time, I would totally want that one! I figure, if I get good at this and I am canning like nobody's business I will be able to justify buying that one.
