Doubler or soaker to keep her feeling dry?

Okay so I think my DD's biggest problem for overnight isn't so much absorbancy but finding something that we can put as the first layer gainst her skin to make her feel dry even though she is wet.

I think we are going to go with toddler PF's with a Premium PF tri folded inside and a crat or longies/soaker over top all of that.

Wondering what we could put as the first layer to make her feel like she is dry?

Our try again with FB's just didn't work tonight I tired a quad folded Premium PF and a MOE insert inside the FB. Ended up having some wicking and after a couple of mins with the diaper on she wet a little and she didn't like that she could feel that little bit of wetness so she cried like a banshee.

So we gave in and since we don't have any other option right now we put a sposie on her. :(

I use fitted with covers.. for overnight I put in 3 flannel/fleece doublers (very simple design). He is a heavy wetter and has yet to wet the bed with this method! If you would like to see the doublers I use just PM me!

fleece liners keep DS dry at night..is that what you were thinking of?

We could never use pockets t night which is why we have to use hemp PeeWells overnight with a BSWW over it and no more leaks!

I use my pocket fitteds exclusively under a crat or Disana over night and always use 1-2 fleece liners, eventhough most of my dipes are made w/fleece inner already anyway as DS hates the feeling of being wet.

So it looks like Fleece is the way to go.

I think I will look around and get a couple of fleece liners then and maybe a couple of wool ones too.

Can anyone suggest a place to look that has good prices and ship to Canada.

:)

I put fleece in my diapers too if they don't already have them. You can buy some cheap fleece at Joann's or somewhere similar and just cut them to size.
You will find something that works! It just takes time, especially at n ight!

I'm wondering if you are actually overstuffing the FBs; that can cause problems too. You might try just using 2 MOE inserts and see how that goes. Also, snug-fitting jammy bottoms can cause wicking if the fabric gets into the diaper.
I second the fleece liners (I think MOE sells some large ones for use in non-FBs) if you're sticking with the prefolds.
Good luck!
