Re: cloth nursing pads
I made mine. A layer of flannel and a layer of warm and natural batting in the middle and another layer of flannel. I traced a cd for the size stick them all together and zig zag stitch around the edge. They work great for me.

Re: cloth nursing pads
I just purchased some organic flannel cotton ones at the Motherhood Maternity Store. I think they're made by Green Sprout, or something like that! They came four to a package for $6. I didn't think that was too bad. I like them because they're bigger than the last cloth ones I bought. I think they were Playtex ones, but I'm not sure. The big organic ones I just bought are also sewn the shape of the breast, not flat (I'm not sure what the technical "sewing" term for this is!). They aren't bulky and they're SOOOO soft and comfy. I am going back for another package tomorrow. HTH!

Re: cloth nursing pads
I bought some pads, 6 sets (total of 12), for $12.99, from a WAHM at the following site: She has another set of 12 for sale right now. Jennifer was easy to work with and I think I got a GREAT price for these.

Unfortunately I can't tell you how well they work yet because my DS isn't here yet. BUT, they look great, large size and soft. I can't wait to use them. And I figure helping out a WAHM doesn't hurt either!

Re: cloth nursing pads
I used some Bravado nursing pads and they were a tad bulky but nice since they have a stay dry side. Also bought some WAHM thinner cotton flannel ones (with a cute Hello Kitty side) off Ebay (don't remember the seller though). Also used some wool ones at night.

I need some cloth ones for the next time around...I HATED the ones I had (johnson and johnson I think)..whenever I leaked and then they dried, it chafed so bad...ouch. I used Lily Pads, (the ones that stick on you, so you actualy don't leak and you can wear them swimming) and disposables.

Re: cloth nursing pads
hey mama, i make nursing pads. i just updated my website today with new fabrics. My prices are cheap and i have lots of cute prints to choose from. Also, my pads are serged so they won't fray. and they have a waterproof layer on the back of pul or fleece. (whichever you choose). I can do a cute flannel print for the front, or a natural colored bamboo velour for a very soft and squishy pad!! Take a look at my site and let me know if you're interested!! thansk
