My 18 month old daughter lays across my lap, signs "Milk" and says please "Peeze?" when she wants to nurse. I call it milk to her and she calls it milk in sign language. :)

:roflmbo: That's what we call it too. Or "Do you want to eat?". Mia will frequently say whenever Elizabeth is crying that "Elizabeth needs boobies"

Ds made the codename for himself, he would say nigh-night when he wanted to nurse!

I guess we call it whip... because my dh always tells me (and cari) that I need to (or to Cari, "she is) whippin' the boob out.

My DS would call it "boobie" and he would say that anywhere, he nursed till he was 2y 3m. This has me thinking i need to change that for my DD

Grace says "milkee, milkeeeeeeee, MILLLLLLLLLKEEEEEEEEE!" When she wants it, she wants it NOW! We had diner with some of DH's family a few weeks ago and as it approached bedtime and we were still there she started telling me MILKY...most everyone thought she was saying Monkey...or they pretended that was what they thought she was saying! :giggle:

The act is "nursling."

We would say, "do you want to nursle?" or "do you want a nursle?"

Remembering that makes me smile. Thanks!

That is cute

Gavin signed for milk, and Claire called it "Mamo" - no idea where she came up w/ that. She still calls it that "Oh, Oliver wants some mamo!!" :)
