Is my almost 12 month old weaning? What can I supplement with?

I've struggled with low supply through our entire nursing relationship (taking Motilium (Domperidone) to keep up) and now that my DD is nursing less often, I'm feel like I'm losing the ability to keep my supply up.
She currently only nurses 4 times a day - once in the morning, @9am (about 10 min per side), once before nap, @1-2pm (5-10 min per side), once before dinner, @6 (about 10 min per side) and right before bedtime, @10pm (about 5-10 min per side) Is she getting enough milk like this?

I'd like to start weaning the 2 daytime nursing sessions as well soon so hopefully I can stop taking the Motilium and so it'll help our TTC efforts, but..........
I can't pump anymore (only get 1/2 an once if I'm lucky) so I have nothing else to offer her. She eats yogurt/cereal mid-morning and lunch after her nap, as well as dinner around 7-8pm (depending on daddy's work schedule) and she eats very well. She does take a sippy (w/ water) very well, should I start offering the sippy with milk?? If so, with Cow's milk? Goat's milk? Rice milk? What would you use?

Sorry for all the questions but this is the first time I've made it this far with breastfeeding and I just don't know what to do now.

My dd is the same age adjusted for prematurity as your daughter and nurses 4-5 times a day and eats 3 meals. She does still nurse 2-3 times at night though, but she is only 15 lbs. According to my ped. it's ok at this age for them to be nursing less and eating more solids, as they normally recommend starting cow's milk at a year. I am going to continue nursing and offer organic cow's milk, and goats milk in a month or so. She is still getting used to the sippy and when I offer extra BM in a bottle during meals and throughout the day she is not interested, so I assume she is getting enough. It's totally up to you how you transition your babe at a year. I'm sure other mama's and your ped. can give you some ideas. Oh, and I also take domperidone :giggle2:

Thanks mama.
I have a petite LO too, so I worry about her intake alot. She is only 16lbs. She was born at 39wks ~ 7lbs, 8oz.

She only nurses those 4 times (sometimes 5) a day and she sleeps through the night. I just worry it's not enough

Ugh! I wish V would sleep through the night. Hopefully that will happen soon, but I'm not crossing my fingers :) I hope some other mama's chime in so we can get some ideas about how to make the transition.

At 12 months I would guess that it would be fine to give her cows milk. :) I'm finding it necessary to day wean my 11.5 month old. He's getting a few bottles of 1/2 cow milk/ 1/2 formula. Eventually we'll move to just cow milk.

I would suggest that you could continue as you are until 12 months and then start to wean the daytime nursings to cow's milk if you choose. I would do them one at a time though, at least a week apart.

I would offer a bottle of cow's milk before nursing, if she takes bottles well. Then, if that works, you could transition the bottle to a sippy :)

I don't post in here often, but I feel like I was in your exact position a few months ago! My supply was so low by 10 months that I felt like we were just limping across the 1-year line. I did everything I could to make it to a year, and then I just relaxed on the feedings that were so stressful to both of us! My DD still loves nursing first thing in the morning (when I have a better supply) and after some naps, but I don't feel the need to make feedings happen later in the day if we're running around or if she'd rather play. My goal was to make it through a year of breastmilk being most of her nutrition, and now that she's there, I think of it as a supplement/snuggle time/vitamin/immunity booster for her every day. If she's excited to eat, awesome! But if a feeding is stressing either of us out, we just don't do it!

It's actually really freeing...I really struggled for those last few months of the year, and now I'm loving it again! It's still our close, special time every morning, but we don't spend our evenings with both of us in tears anymore.

She does really like solid food, so I don't have to worry much about whether she's getting enough. We went through Failure to Thrive issues around 6-8 months because my supply was all over the place, so I thought I would be more concerned about cutting back feedings, but she's really made up for it with eating more other foods. I started offering cow's milk in a sippy a few weeks after her birthday (when I got around to it...) and it took her a bit to start drinking much. She has 20ish oz a day now though, so I figure she just adjusts to what she needs!

Good luck with figuring out what works! I'm glad we made it through the year of really focusing on getting most of her food from me, but I'm also really glad that those days of stress are over and we can just enjoy it now for as long as it's still working for both of us. Let me know if you have any other questions! I hope it works out great for you!
