Oh man... suggestions?
 

I have a chicken roasting in the oven, and I was going to go dig some potatoes from the garden to go with it (along with some other veggies). It is now thundering and rainy out, and I don't have a back up plan!

What would you serve with a roast chicken, other than potatoes/rice (I'm out of rice too :banghead: )?

You may have to go out and get wet!!! No other ideas for you unless you have somehting canned or instant on hand.

A fresh leafy salad? A tomato & cucumber salad? Do you have the stuff to make rolls or biscuits? I have a super quick recipe for drop biscuits that is insanely easy. You could even put shredded cheese in them (yum).

Oh, I have some rolls in the freezer, and yes, I was going to steam some other veggies (frozen). Thanks!

So we had the chicken with homemade gravy on the rolls, with a side if mixed veggies. Super good!
