My newborn diapers don't fit my newborn!
 

Abby was born on Monday at a solid 8 pounds even, 21 inches long. She came home on Wednesday at 7lbs9oz. But she's got chicken legs. We've got K0s for her and newborn pockets and AIOs and they don't fit her. :banghead: In fact, most of her newborn clothes don't fit her. And she's eight pounds. Now she's stuck in sposies with a li'l red bum until she plumps up enough. :yuck: Good thing my milk's come in and she's a good nurser.

Prefolds or flats can help! Even gerber DSQ ones work! Congrats on the new baby!

Mine had little legs and I discovered Dappi diaper wraps with the gussets worked great! If you try them just be sure and line dry and they work and last very nicely. Oh and I trifolded prefolds in them for the soaker.

poor thing!! We had ds in KL 0s with BSWW at 5days old (didn't know cloth could cover the stump) and he weighed 6#4oz with TINY lil chicken legs. MAJOR bummer yours won't fit her! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...e/DSC_5146.jpg

prefolds!!!! My daughter was 6lbs when we brought her home, prefolds were the answer :)

No kidding! I don't know what the deal is. I just finished feeding her and pulled her away and she had had a BF explosion that I know wouldn't have happened with cloth. :banghead:

Do you not have any prefolds and covers?
infant prefolds and newborn proraps are #1 on my newborn stash list

Thanks :thumbsup:! We don't have any prefolds. A bit intimidated by 'em...:blush: The Husband won't even try them and since we have a billion newborn sposies he wants to finish those out before I go buying any more dipes. LOL My suspicion is it won't take her long to beef up...but until then it's just sad...I wanted to use our cloth. :cry:

I have a friend who has a newborn, too. And she can't cd yet because nothing fits! I think for the next baby I'm just going to buy smalls and sposie diaper until she/he fits into them.
