PUL and applique.. in the middle of a project..

Ok, so I remember on the old board that this was discussed a lot. Someone said that you can applique on pul an then iron on another piece of pul over the back to help seal holes. I ironed it on and it stuck together, BUT it is still loose in some areas. Not sure if it will hold up. Do I need to sew it on too? But then that will make more holes. Does it seal more in the dryer when I'm done? Thanks!

If it is still loose around the edges it should be ok as long as all the embroidery stitches are covered and there is a ironed on sealled area all the way around. I have not had mine peel off and there is about 1/4 inch loose around the edges in some spots. I wouldn't pull on it though;)

I use something called Fabri-tac to tack down my threads after sewing and to back it up with pul. It is a great and clear "super" glue for fabrics. It is can be washed and it bonds almost immediately.
