This may sound stupid, but are they not incredibly difficult to get in place? That's the only thing stopping me from trying them.

They sit much "lower" than a tampon. Mine pretty much just pops open, and it finds it's own place according to the shape of your body.

There is a bit of an "ick factor", but I'd put it at the same level as an OB tampon. If you're comfortable with that, you'd be fine with a menstrual cup.

yes....it takes a couple of cycles to get the hang of it....but once you do.....wow the difference is huge...so much better!! If you have a medium to light flow...you can just leave it in all day and empty it before bed. I wear mine overnight...no prob at all.
