To dry or not to dry: That is the question!
So how do you dry your inserts (microfiber, hemp, cotton), and fitteds? Right now I'm hanging everything to dry, but is there any downfall to putting my inserts into the dryer?

Re: To dry or not to dry: That is the question!
I put them in the dryer on med/low. The microfiber are always dry but the hemp are always still damp so I just let them air dry the rest of the way.
I think it's just the covers with PUL that you aren't supposed to put in the dryer. |
Re: To dry or not to dry: That is the question!
Everything gets dried on high. We use a coin op so it's the fastest way to get it all done.

After a year of CDing without a dryer, I've always used the dryer once we got one! Everything goes in.

Prefolds, wipes and inserts get dried on low. Covers, fitteds, pockets and AIOs get lined dried.... However, I will sun an insert if it's stained. :giggle

I always do dryer, high heat for 85 minutes or so. Most diapers take well over a year to show wear, with a few (natural fiber) exceptions. :)

Does high heat make the inserts less absorbent?
