There is A LOT of mamas that crochet baby hats. Its a basic item so you would really need to make yours stand out in some way to get the attention to make very many sales. I would consider expanded my list of items that could be made and again, try to make your items unique in some way. A basic baby hat is not going to garner much attention because tons of people out there do it and its sort of a beginning project so even someone with beginning knowledge can make one.

Thanks. Yeah, I add flowers and bows and different colors - I have a picture, but I don't have enough posts to add it... or even a link to it... crazy.

Maybe you could add crocheted booties to match? We mama's looooooove sets of things! They definitely need something to make them more unique.

I make crochet hats for baby gifts and am always getting asked (locally) if I make them to sell (I don't). I think it would be a lot harder selling online as there are so many cute ones and so cheap...

True. I sold some at a festival this past weekend for $10 each. Probably wouldn't get that online. Of course they had little extras (little puff balls on top or roses attached too..)
