Getting AF back?
 

So how long were you breastfeeding before you got AF back?

With my first son at 10 months (when I weaned him) I got AF back. With DD it was 12 months and she weaned at 17 months. DS2 is almost 13.5 months (is a preemie-does that even matter?) and there is still no AF. I have had ovulation pain on and off for the past couple months, my mucus has the tell tell signs and I had horrid cramping 3 weeks ago but still nothing. I am sure my body is gearing up to get things going but its hard to NFP with no period. Ugh. Any ideas on how to get this going? I can not have anymore babies.

My first and second it was the day they turned one. This time it came back at 3.5 months and I am nursing this little guy around the clock. Even now at 5 months he wakes 2-3 times a night and eats every 2-2.5 hours during the day.

I have no clue either how to get it to come back :( I dont even remember with my oldest, with my 2nd it came back 5 months AFTER he quit nursing, with #3 it never returned LOL thats right got preg with #4 while on b.c., nursing and no return of postpardom period so guessing on when I got pregnant it would have returned when he was 3 months, after #4 it came back almost right away. Id be happy if this time around could be like it was with my almost 7 yr old and it not return for quite sometime :)

I got mine back within 8 weeks of each of mine being born. My doctor blames stress. (*points to siggy*) I am sorry mama, have you gotten your iron levels and such checked? My bff wasn't getting her's cause she was low on iron.

Oh, my Mom's took a year to come back though with all of us, so I think its different for everyone!

7wks w/ all four of mine and this time i am even tandem nursing :thud:

No clue. Mine returned at 8 weeks. :(

11 months, that's when I went down to 2-3 pumps a day
